My Story

​

My name is John Wyatt. I tell stories through film, photography, and graphic design.

I spent thirty five years in telecommunications before returning to school to focus on telling stories through my film and art.  I earned my Associate in Art with high honors from Richland Community College and graduated from Millikin University with a BS in Film and Video Production, summa cum laude.

My films have earned awards and festival recognition. I served as creative director with 1901 Productions, where I helped shape the visual identity of multiple projects.

​

My experience includes filming touring productions and student athletes, photographing engagements, bridal showers, and summer camps, and creating award winning motion graphics and film posters.

Whether I’m directing a short film, shooting photography, or designing graphics, my goal is the same. Clear storytelling. Purposeful visuals. Work that feels grounded and human.
