My Story
 

I’m John Wyatt, a filmmaker, project manager, and storyteller. After a 35-year career in telecommunications I returned to school and earned my Associate in Art with high honors from Richland Community College. I will graduate from Millikin University in December 2025 with a BS in Film and Video Production, also with honors.

I’ve written and directed short films that have received festival recognition and awards, and I’ve served as creative director with 1901 Productions. My work also includes motion graphics and film posters that have been recognized for their quality and impact. In addition, I’ve taken on projects covering sporting events, Millikin summer camps, and engagement and bridal showers, along with sports media at Millikin University.

From writing and directing to cinematography and photography, I focus on telling stories that connect.
